Booty trends over the years

"Does my bum look big in this"? If you replied to a woman asking you that question 20 years ago with a "Yes" you'd be running for your life.

Changes into the future!

Now we're charging into the 2020s, so what actually is going on? The Linda Evangelista, Claudia Schiffer butt that was idealised 20 plus years ago has been replaced by another type; drumroll......, 'The Kardashians'.

Somehow they got really famous for not really doing anything. They appear to spend a lot of time focusing on their looks and for whatever reason the general public can't seem to get enough of them.

One thing is for certain and that is, that the Kardashians would have to be a serious contributor for changing the small booty trend. Their influence has embedded in many a young woman's mind the thought of 'the bigger the booty the better'.

Enquiries amongst young women for butt enhancing surgery is on the rise.

Young woman are going so far as to get butt implants, and even put their lives in jeopardy with a Brazilian Butt Lift.

This procedure reportedly has had the highest number of deaths than any other cosmetic surgery treatment.

It involves transferring fat from one area of the body to another, in this case the butt region.

The reason it is so dangerous is because there are arteries in the bottom area that lead straight to the heart. If fat accidentally gets through from the procedure it can go straight to the heart. This is potentially life threatening.

With all this knowledge it's hard to believe that inquiries on the Brazilian Butt Lift are on the rise. Heading into the year 2020, the butt lift is now the new boob job.

If you have curves you're in luck because there are pants on the market everywhere that claim to lift your booty up and hold it in. Shapewear galore exists to move yourself this way and that, it's become the norm. The Kardashians are not missing out and have made sure they have their own line of shapewear underwear to make you look well, more like them.

The only drawback is that again we are only catering for one body type. What about the women who today have the booty type that was the trend of the eighties, surgery is too extreme for most, so perhaps padded underwear just like a padded bra could be the answer and of course don't forget there's always padded jeans.
